How do I reference lecture notes in-text and in my reference list in APA?

Before referencing lecture notes, you need to:
Check with your lecturer to make sure you can reference lecture notes in your assignments
Check whether your lecturer prefers you to cite the lecture as a normal reference or as a personal communication
For a personal communication, you need to provide the details in-text only (you do not provide a reference list entry).
