What is O-Week and where do I find my orientation information and events?
Updated 02/10/2020 10.39 AM
O-Week stands for Orientation Week and is usually the week before all your lectures and tutorials start.
Research shows that attendance at Orientation Week is a predictor of academic success, so be sure use your online O-Week planner to register for events and create your personalised itinerary. Anything that is compulsory for you will be automatically included in your planner.
Orientation Week is also a great opportunity to:
meet new people
get comfortable with the facilities and locations of classes
get your student ID card
make sure you are correctly enrolled
participate in workshops to assist you with academic, computing and library skills
generally have a fun and informative time.
